Morpheus Music is first and foremost an information hub run by a music lover at no cost.
Due to demands that sometimes run beyond what I can reasonably cover I have also developed The Electronic Music Mall.

How can I get onto the Index?

Text Only Post - no cost.
Send us your name, URL and two or three of the main genres that you cover.
Of course - we would appreciate a return link.

Banner Post - when you buy any of our advertising squares at The Electronic Music Mall, we automatically add you in banner form to our Index pages.
The more squares you buy, the bigger your banner.

How can I have my news posted?

There are three ways of advertising on our News Pages:

Text Only Post - no cost.
Send us your press release and we'll post a simple text item drawing attention to your latest release.

Headline Post.
Comes with text, 100 x 100 pixel image and a link to your site - cost $10 (as part of our Featured CD Review - see below).

How do I get a CD reviewed?


There are two levels of CD review at Morpheus Music.

Standard review - no cost.
Send us your CD and we'll review it.
This will be a three section review - Music, Art, Overall
Please mail us first to see if we are able to give the time to reviewing your CD, since this is a free service, we cannot promise to review all that we are offered.

Featured CD Review - $10.
1. This includes a 5 section review - Style, Mood, Artwork, Overall, Who Will Like This Album.
2. We post your review also on our Myspace page, our Tribes page on Amazon or on a suitable forum plus a highlight in our newsletter.
3. In addition your CD will be added to our CD Finder and as a featured CD at the top of our genre pages.
4. This option also includes a Headline News Post on our News Page as described above.
6. Finally - to add to your visibility at Morpheus we will add a 200 x 20 pixel banner for you on all of our Index pages (here, here, and here).

To obtain a Featured CD review simply buy one or more squares (at $10 each) on either the Artists Page or the Resources Page at The Electronic Music Mall.

These squares are an investment in themselves - they are a permanent advert for your music.
They are also fully editable by you at any time and so can be updated to highlight your latest project.
These squares are also cumulative - you can bunch them together, once you own 5 you get a free square on our Home Page - visible to all our visitors.

How to obtain free squares on our News Page:

Each square on the News Page costs nothing.

All adverts placed on the News Page will remain for 6 months before they expire.
Adverts on this page can be seen simultaneously on Electronic Music Mall and Morpheus Music and a growing number of other sites hosting our News Grid.

The maximum amount of squares you can buy is 100 squares per item - but you can take up to 10 different items.

To obtain squares - follow this simple procedure:
Step One - Have an image ready to fit exactly the squares you want (each square is 10 x 10 pixels) - also have a larger pop up image ready.
Step two - You start by clicking the 'Buy Squares' link at the top of the page (don't worry you don't have to buy, this just lets you look around).
Step three - You then create a simple account, log-in and are able to choose squares following the on-screen instructions.
Step Four - Click 'Order Pixels' link and choose xxNEWSxx from drop down menu.
Step Five - You can now upload your image from your computer.
Step Six - Scroll down and you now should see the full page grid and your uploaded image.
Step Seven - Click your uploaded image once (then let go of the mouse button) and you can drag it around to where you want it - then click once to fix.
Step Eight - Once your image is in place - click the 'Write Your Ad' button and you can enter text, upload a pop-up image and set a link.

Tip - make your image the right size to fit the blocks you have chosen - the software doesn't resize images.
