The Morpheus Awards are run purely for the fun of it. We're not trying to be some serious Awards arrangement - we simply enjoy highlighting some of the best musical material of the past year.
No one is suggesting that the winners of the various categories are 'better' than all the other nominations (we'd never presume to measure quality by a popularity poll). What our polls do show is the appreciation of visitors to Morpheus for some excellent music and some of the fine work done by others in supporting that music.
